Job Description

Star Marketing Coordinator works on various marketing activities in the marketing department to promote and sell Star products and services. They provide marketing support to the sales department, and they are available to provide marketing coordination support services to Star customers on their Star projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • marketing coordination
  • coordinates requests/orders for star promotional merchandise and apparel, and collateral (e.g. business cards, envelopes, labels, etc.)
  • content marketing coordination with other depts and/or outside vendor(s), and limited content contribution/editing/creation related to: marketing campaigns, general social media, blogs, website, emails, and other marketing communications channels
  • client marketing services coordination
  • coordination of client marketing and creative services proposals, presentations and projects that include exhibit collateral, graphic design, promotional merchandise/apparel proposal
  • provides or arranges for miscellaneous event marketing items such as: event transportation, entertainment, catering, registration, and other miscellaneous on-site marketing related services
  • provides staffed on-site event marketing support for client (if requested), such as booth staffing, concierge, registration and lead dissemination, etc.
  • process technology coordination
  • provides administration support for current marketing, sales, and process tech tool stacks/platforms (e.g. marketing automation, CRM, sales engagement, conversational marketing tools)

Desired Experience/Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years experience in marketing coordination/administration, event management, or administrative support, and/or combination of experience, and training/education through a related certificate program, or 2/4 year college institution
  • Ability to directly communicate proficiently and professionally with clients
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and/or Google Apps
  • Familiarity with marketing concepts
  • Event management/planning certification or affiliation is helpful but not required
